Runway Trend Spring 2013: White on White

Sita MurtVera WangDKNYDiane von Furstenberg
From all the trends at Fashion Week Spring 2013, some of my favorites
would be the seasonal stripes, subtle florals, sheer and lace detailing,
and not to mention my most favored, white on white. I love the simplicity
of it. The minimalist white movement continues. Which are your favorites?

how to:

West Elm coffee table $299
Michaels hydrangeas $5.99
Target glass vase set $53
Net-a-porter  Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs book $75
Tom Ford book $135
Jayson Home magnifier $16
West Elm gold tray $32
Figuier  candle $60
West Elm mercury glass votive $5
Horchow  coral decor $110

Since buying a house, we are now searching for odds and ends
to fill it without. We are currently in the process of
finding the right coffee table and searching for the right
amount of decor to go along with it. We don't want to overload
it with small trinkets, so I picked out a few things that
will compliment our coffee table without overloading it. My go-to
for inspiration of course is Pinterest. If you
follow me on Pinterest you will see
all the photos I've been pinning on Home Decor.
It's so exciting getting to decorate our own house now!

Get her look for under $100

Club Monaco top $89 / Faith Connexion skinny jeans $99 / Forever 21 necklace $8 /
Dorothy Perkins metal toe cap heels $69 / Yves Saint Laurent  lipstick $32

I fell in love with Whitney Ports' whole wardrobe choice when I saw this picture.
She has always been one of my fashion icons ever since I've
watched her on The Hills & The City in high-school.
So I decided to recreate her look with a budget that
is more suiting to my wallet. image

Honeymooning

cover-upblush bikininomad bikinitribal print bikini

With our upcoming honeymoon to Mexico,  I've been searching for
things to travel with and started a new packing list. Mainly because I'm
OCD and tend to think I'm going to forget something. While searching for
new swim wear, I came across a designer that I fell in love with.
Mara Hoffman has beautiful swimwear, beach bags and clothing also.
You can also shop her line at Shopbop and Net-a-Poter.
A beach tote, sunnies, camera and sandals are all
must haves when traveling!

Top Hair Products

I'm such a product junkie. Especially since I work in the
beauty/esthetics field, I am always trying new products constantly.
I can honestly tell a difference in my hair when I skip a day
in between washes without using product.
Here are some hair products that I rely on daily.
What are some of your favorite hair products?
xox

1. Kerastase Elixir Ultime
A nourishing oil that provides shine while smoothes and strengthens.
This oil makes my hair so soft and shiny and smells just like your on a tropical island.
3. Biosilk
Every time I use biosilk, I make sure I get a little extra to use on my skin as well,
your skin can't thank you enough.
4. Big Sexy Hair
Dry Shampoo is my life saver. Use in between washes or use for instant volume.
5. Kenra
This nourishing masque and deep conditioning treatment will repair dry and damaged hair.
6. it's a ten
Miracle leave in product that enables me to brush my hair with zero tangles.
Definitely not possible without it.
7. Kenra
Super all day hold that is non-sticky. Also excellent humidity resistance.
By far my fav hairspray.
8. Wella
I was introduced to Brilliance Wella shampoo while working at a salon. Little did I know
I would be using it for the rest of my life mainly because it smells
like skittles and does wonders for color-treated hair.
9. Brocato Cloud 9
This serum has fade prevention and leaves hair shiny and silky.

6 ways to show off your Closet

Happy New Year everyone. This is the year that I get married.
It's getting closer and closer to the wedding date.
Only 5 months away, but who's counting? ;)
Now the fun part starts, looking for our first home. It's definitely
not a walk in the park at the least. If you're like me and every other girl
in the world, you probably have more clothes, shoes, and bags than you do space.
So with that said, we've both decided to turn an extra bedroom into
a dressing room/closet for all the extra materials.
Here are a few spaces that inspire me to turn a plain
extra bedroom into the closet of my dreams!
